Southwest Washington Woodturners meet on the second Thursday of each month, except December. Our meetings begin at 7 p.m. at 1600 West 20th, Vancouver, WA.

Next meeting: May 9th with Kevin Jesequel

Kevin will be demonstrating hollow forms. He is an involved member of both Northwest Woodturners and Cascade Woodturners (where he is currently serving as President). He is a recipient of the POP Showcase Artist award and will be demonstrating at the AAW Symposium in Portland. For our May meeting, he will demonstrate how he turns a hollow form with a large void. He will cover everything from selecting the wood, to positioning it on the lathe to create the void, to hollowing, and finishing the foot.

Southwest Washington Woodturners is a Washington nonprofit organization that is qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. SWW is devoted to educating woodturners and the public about the art and craft of woodturning.
